Spot live cattle futures have lost 24.9% of their value since January 1, 2020 while feeder cattle futures have declined 22.27%. The dollar loss for spot live cattle reached $31.75 and spot feeders have lost $32.92 for this year as of today. The decline is the worst in the last 40 years.
